Dr. Stephen Spelman has been voted a 2010 topDENTIST by his peers in the dental profession here in Las Vegas! A graduate from the renowned University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, Dr. Spelman has practiced quality Dentistry in Las Vegas since 1981. After almost 30 years of putting his patients needs first, Dr. Spelman enjoys the admiration of his peers and patients alike.
Specializing in healthy new smiles, Dr. Spelman a Summerlin Dentist particularly enjoys the dramatic “before & afters” that happen everyday in his office! Using veneers, crowns, gum contouring, bleaching and orthodontics, Dr. Spelman creates bright, new smiles often in only one or two visits. And for many of his patients, their new smiles have a profound and positive impact on their professional and personal lives!
Determined to stay on the cutting edge of art and technology in his field, Dr. Spelman studies at the distinguished Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and received the L.V.I. certification for Full Mouth Reconstruction. Dr. Spelman also was awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1997 – one of the few dentists in Nevada to achieve this recognition.
Doc Steve is originally from San Francisco, CA. He loves classic cars (he owns a ’63 Corvette, a ’66 Volkswagen bug and a ’62 Cadillac convertible), enjoys pitching in the adult baseball league, playing tennis and spending time with his wife, Janet and two daughters, Hayley and Samantha. His oldest daughter, Hayley, is a sophomore at Stanford University and is a member of the Stanford Women’s Volleyball team. His youngest daughter, Sammie, attends Bonanza High School, plays volleyball, dances and is a budding diver. His wife Janet is a Realtor with Realty One Group.
Dr. Spelman has volunteered his services for underprivileged teens at the Huntridge Teen Clinic for over ten years. Janet and Sammie belong to the National Charity League and enjoy volunteering at the Las Vegas Rescue Shelter, Opportunity Village, Three Square and other worthy causes in the Las Vegas area.
